SUMMARY AND
SUGGESTIONS
6.1 Purposes of Practicum
The purpose of the
practicum are to teach the pupils from different country, to share our
knowledge, to know their culture, their habits, and also to make our
relationship between Indonesia and Philippines closer. The
other is to combine our education system between Indonesia and Philippines. By
sharing each other, it can increase our knowledge and make our education better
for the future.
To make students
able to:
A. Enumerated what to do before,
during, and after volcanic eruptions.
B. Demonstrated the safety drill
before, during, and after volcanic eruptions.
C. Be aware on the safety precautions
before, during, and after volcanic eruptions.
6.2 Procedures of Practicum
There are 4 weeks we
had join this program. And they divided into 4 parts: orientation and
observation, teaching assistant, teaching practice, and evaluation and
reflection.
There are some
procedure for practicum teaching the pupils in the Elementary School: before we
started our practicum to teach the pupils, we should finish our lesson plan
first and then we consult to the teacher. After they allow us to teach, so we
can teach in the classroom.
6.3 Outcomes
of Practicum
There are outcomes of
practicum:
1. Based
on the observation, we know many differences between education system in
Indonesia and also in Philippine.
2. Based
on the observation, we can learn many things new from this project so we can
develop our education system in Indonesia.
3.
The student teacher can integrated and
colaborate the education system between two country becomes education system
better for the future.
6.4 Challenges
of Practicum
The biggest challenge
of our practicum is manage the
class, because in the grade six have 53 pupils but in Indonesia the maximum
pupils in one class is 40 pupils.
6.5 Overall
Impression
It was very great
experience and proud
can to teach the pupils from in that school. Because the pupils in the grade 6 is very active in
the class. I thought that they are very interested with us
because some of them told me that they already miss me before I want to go back
to Indonesia. Pupils in this Elementary School are very kind, clever, and
participate actively in the lesson.
