OBSERVATION ON TEACHER

4.1 Planning For Teaching

The teacher before teaching in his class. He is arrange the lesson plan. What are the activities in the class as long as he teach. All of the teachers in the elemetary school are young. Based on the observations in the Elementary School, is known that the elementary school want to have more productive teacher. Teach the pupils on this age (7-12 years old) need much energy because they are still playfull, unruly, and very noisy. So, they need a teacher that can make them pay attention to their lesson given by the teacher. Before they teach the pupils, the teacher made their lesson plan on the type of semi detail. On their lesson plan, they planed all of the subjects and also the materials that will be given to the pupils.

4.2 Preparing Lessons and Materials

In one unit of material, teacher divide become some topic. One topic for one meeting. Teacher use media learning like power point, picture and manila paper. Quick recap and explain about the material. All of the teacher in the Elementary School planed the lesson very nice and also very good preparation and also the other for their media to transfer the knowledge to the pupils. They made some accecories on the paper to make pupils interested with their lessons. The other media, the teacher used their laptop to present some pictures and asked the pupils to guess it and also used the speaker to sing or sound of the film or video.

4.3 Teaching In class

Based on the observation, is known that the teacher in the Elementary School should be patient to face their pupils. They do their best to treat the pupils. The teacher very fair to ask the answer from their pupils so all of the pupils can answer the question one by one, not only for special pupils. The teacher have some methods for their class like experiment conducted by the science teacher. The teacher have methods to make pupils focus to the lesson.

The teacher in the Elementary School, they always ask their pupils for the detail answer and also asked the answer from the pupils first before the teacher give the explanation to the pupils. Based on the observation, we know that the young teacher in the Elementary School is very energic to give their knowledge to thier pupils. They started their lesson at 07.30 am and finished at 04.30 pm. Before the pupils entered the class, they lined up in front of the class. In the class they have leader prayer hey always pray and pray together. The teacher become the leader when they are dancing.

4.4 Measurement and Evaluation

To increase students participation, the teacher use three method to check measurement and evaluation as follow classwork, assessment and homework. Every meeting that method always used by the teacher.

4.5 Classroom Management

For the classroom management, we always rearange the position of the pupil’s seat. For example when they will make groups, they will move on their own group and make a circle formation. And then, when they are noisy, we can stop for a while until the pupils pay attention back to the teacher.
